What happens during hair removal by medical laser?
During the treatment, laser rays penetrate the skin and hit the color pigments of the hair. The hairs are being scorched. In the case of those hairs that are in the growth phase (anagen phase) and thus still connected to the hair root, not only the hair is damaged, but also the surrounding cells that supply it. The hair root is destroyed and no new hair can grow back. This works better the darker the hair is.
What can you expect?
Depending on the patient, it takes 4-8 treatments at 4 week intervals (face) or 6-8 weeks for other areas of the body. After one day you can see the hair roots coming out of the skin. What should you pay attention to?
